Activities Group
In the Activity Group record it is possible to define groups which, when associated with the activity type, allow the user to organize the activities used in the Engineering by sector or by production process step, facilitating the visualization of activities in the Engineering, obtaining production reports that use activities groups besides arranging the Job based on group activities.
When installing the system, this record will be filled with default Activity groups, which may be subsequently modified in order to facilitate the visualization of the Engineering detail screen and the Job Summary report.

Information on the Activities Group Record Window
Go to Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Activities Group

Add Activities Group
The user is required to have enabled the following access options, for adding Activities Groups:
EPS > SALES > RECORDS > IQUOTE > ENGINEERING > ACTIVITIES GROUP > ADD ACTIVITIES GROUP
In the system’s main menu, click Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Activities Group or enter "Activities Group" in the Quick Search field
Click Add. The following screen will open:
Complete the fields as described below:

Name |
Name of the activity group used by the Engineering and by the production modules. |

Sequence |
Sequence to be assigned to the activity group for viewing groups in the Job Summary production report (to determine the columns order), in the Engineering, etc. |

Color |
Identification color for the activity group. This color will be displayed in the estimate’s and the Job’s Engineering when clicking the details button in the workflow |
|
Activities Group |
Activities groups classes used for the system to accurately identify the correct activity position inside the production Engineering, since the activity group may be recorded under different names. |
|
Active |
Activity group situation that indicates if it can be selected in the Activity Types. |
.When finished, click Save.
Note: The activity type group can also be added through the Production Group record. For more information, refer to "Using the Fast Link".
Edit Activities Groups
The user is required to have enabled the following access options, for editing activities groups:
EPS > SALES > RECORDS > IQUOTE > ENGINEERING > ACTIVITIES GROUPS > EDIT ACTIVITIES GROUPS
In the system’s main menu, click Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Activities Group or enter "activities group” in the Quick Search field
Click the appropriate activity to select it.
Click Edit.
Edit as needed. For more information on the buttons and fields on this screen, refer to “Add Activities Groups.”
When finished, click Save.
Note: The activity group can also be edited through the Production Group record. For more information, refer to "Using the Fast Link".
Delete Activities Groups
The user is required to have enabled the following access options, for deleting activities groups:
EPS > SALES > RECORDS > IQUOTE > ENGINEERING > ACTIVITIES GROUPS > DELETE ACTIVITIES GROUPS
In the system’s main menu, click Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Activities Group or enter "activities group" in the Quick Search field
Click the appropriate activity group to select it.
Click Delete.
Click Yes to confirm the action.
Note: If the selected activity group is being used, the system displays a message that it can not be deleted.
