Estimate Test Cases Group

The estimate test cases allow the user to select sets of estimates to make Engineering cost calculation comparisons. It is possible to create multiple groups with different estimates such as a group only for editorial products estimates and other packaging products. For more information, refer to "Estimate Test Cases.”

 

Information on the Estimate Test Cases Group Record Window

Go to Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Estimate Test Cases Group

Add Estimate Test Cases Group

The user is required to have enabled the following access options, for adding Estimate Test Cases Group:

EPS > SALES > IQUOTE > ESTIMATE TEST CASES > ADD TEST CASES

 

In the system’s main menu, click Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Estimate Test Cases Group or enter "Estimate Test Cases Group" in the Quick Search field

Click Add. The following screen will open:

Complete the fields as described below:

 

On the Estimates tab, in the Estimates area, click the looking glass icon on the right.

Click the appropriate estimates to select them.

Note: It is possible to search for specific estimates. For more information on adding or editing search characteristics refer to “Searching in the browser.”

Note: It is possible to select multiple Estimates at once by clicking on the first estimate, holding down Shift and selecting the last Estimate in the list.

Repeat steps 3 to 4 for including the appropriate estimates.

When finished, click Save.

Tip: For comparing calculations based on the Production Groups, add the appropriate groups by clicking the Production Group tab.

 

Edit Estimate Test Case Groups

The user is required to have enabled the following access options, for editing Estimate Test Case Groups:

EPS > SALES > IQUOTE > ESTIMATE TEST CASE > EDIT TEST CASE

 

In the system’s main menu, click Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Estimate Test Case Groups or enter "Estimate Test Case Groups" in the Quick Search field

Click the appropriate Estimate Test Case Groups to select them.

Click Edit.

Edit as needed. For more information on the buttons and fields on this screen, refer to “Add Estimate Test Case Groups.”

When finished, click Save.

 

Delete Estimate Test Case Groups

The user is required to have enabled the following access options to be able to delete Estimate Test Case Groups:

EPS > SALES > IQUOTE > ESTIMATE TEST CASE > DELETE TEST CASE

 

In the system’s main menu, click Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Estimate Test Case Groups or enter "Estimate Test Case Groups" in the Quick Search field.

Click the appropriate Estimate Test Case Groups to select them.

Click Delete.

Click Yes to confirm the action.
