Production Groups Classification

The Production Group Classification Record allows the user to record classifications that, when linked to the Production Group, can put together the same Production Group Types, facilitating their search. For more information, refer to see "Linking a Production Groups Classification.” 

 

Information on the Production Groups Classification Record Window

Go to Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Production Groups Classification

Add Production Groups Classification

The user is required to have enabled the following access options, for adding classification:

EPS > SALES > RECORDS > IQUOTE > ENGINEERING > PRODUCTION GROUPS CLASSIFICATION RECORD

 

In the system’s main menu, click Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Production groups classification or enter "Production groups classification" in the Quick Search field

Click Add. The following screen will open:

Complete the fields as described below:

When finished, click Save.

Note: The Production Group classification can also be added through the Production Group record. For more information, refer to "Using the Fast Link".

 

Edit Production Groups Classification

The user is required to have enabled the following access options, for editing classifications:

EPS > SALES > RECORDS > IQUOTE > ENGINEERING > PRODUCTION GROUPS CLASSIFICATION RECORD

 

In the system’s main menu, click Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Production Groups Classification or enter "Production Groups Classification" in the Quick Search field

Click the appropriate classification to select it.

Click Edit.

Edit as needed. For more information on the buttons and fields on this screen, refer to “Add Production Groups Classification.”

When finished, click Save.

Note: The Production Group Classification can also be added through the Production Group record. For more information, refer to "Using the Fast Link".

 

Delete Production Groups Classification

The user is required to have enabled the following access options to be able to delete classifications:

EPS > SALES > RECORDS > IQUOTE > ENGINEERING > PRODUCTION GROUPS CLASSIFICATION RECORD

 

In the system’s main menu, click Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Production Groups Classification or enter "Production Groups Classification" in the Quick Search field.

Click the appropriate classification to select it.

Click Delete.

Click Yes to confirm the action.

Note: If the selected classification is being used, the system displays a message that it can not be deleted.

 

Linking a Classification to a Production Group

The user is required to have enabled the following access options, for accessing Production Groups:

EPS > SALES > RECORDS > IQUOTE > ENGINEERING > PRODUCTION GROUPS CLASSIFICATION RECORD

 

In the system’s main menu, click Sales > Records > iQuote > Engineering > Production Group or enter "Production Group" in the Quick Search field.

Click to select the appropriate Production Group to select it.

Click Advanced Settings.

Under Others, click the dropdown menu to select the appropriate classification.

Click Save and Close
