Esko Integration

This guide describes how to integrate Esko ArtiosCAD to iQuote. iQuote can be integrated to ArtiosCAD using CAD-X and Automation Engine. Both enable estimators, CSRs and job planners to select a pre-existing folded packaging file, like corrugated boxes and folding cartons to use in iQuote. While both CAD-X and Automation Engine provide you with a means of creating in 2D, Cad-X is a server-based Windows service, and Automation Engine is an Enterprise solution that uses Esko WebCenter to store ARD files.

Regardless of which software you use, the integration of iQuote and ArtiosCad with CAD-X and/or Automation Engine is seamless. You can simply select a design to use, and iQuote sends a request to ArtiosCAD to calculate all possible nesting layouts. Then based on your input, the system selects the most cost-effective route in the iQuote engineering requirements for the iQuote estimate and job.
