Available Characteristics to Import

Being able to use a spreadsheet to modify one or more records in iQuote is something that will help you to do so in a faster and easier way, giving you more time to concentrate on other equally important tasks.

However, not all the Characteristics that you can use on iQuote are available for you to edit or create by importing a spreadsheet. Take a look at the table below and check which characteristics, and their respective properties, you can add to your file that iQuote can read and update in your environment.

Notes about the use of "Versions":
- You can provide a quantity of versions only for the final product. If you inform a quantity for the child component, the system will not create versions for it.
- You cannot save a template that has a quantity of versions specified and that also uses the Allow versioning in case of same characteristics in the component option.

Notes about the use of "Versions Group":
- It allows you to indicate which products should be grouped in the same version. You can use this when you do not want iQuote to automatically combine products, as it is possible by configuring it in the template.
- If you leave any product without a Version Group specified, the system will create it with no version.
- This feature cannot be used for composition products.
- This feature cannot be used if the versioning is on the template.
- For the system to group the products, they should have the same characteristics (colors and packaging can be different). If they are different and that specific characteristic does not allow to select/unselect in different versions, even if you define that the product should be in the same version, the system will not combine them.
