Importing Reports
Most of the system’s reports are provided by ePS as default, but iQuote allows the user to import customized reports according to his own needs. Those reports can be included as MRS or RDL files. This guide describes the necessary steps to import both MRS and RDL report files.
MRS Files
The user is required to have enabled the following access options for importing MRS files into the system:
EPS > ADMINISTRATION > REPORTS > REPORTING SERVICE
Note: MRS files are imported one by one and cannot be edited.
In the system’s main menu, click Administration > Reports > Reporting services > Insert reports or enter "insert reports" in the Quick Search field. The following screen will open:
Click the paper clip icon (marked in red, in the image above) to access your computer’s files.
Double click the appropriate .mrs file.
Click Save.
Note: After adding a report a new entry is created in the Access control; and it is disabled by default. Prior to using the new report, it is necessary to enable it.
RDL Files (projects)
The user is required to have enabled the following access options for importing RDL files into the system:
EPS > ADMINISTRATION > REPORTS > REPORTING SERVICE > PLANNER > REPORTS
Note: The New and Edit buttons are used for default system reports. For customized user reports use Insert User Report and Edit User Report.
Importing RDL file reports
