Exceptions

Important: This topic defines the cases in which you cannot use the Layout Optimization.

Note: Whenever the Layout Optimization feature cannot work with a component, the system displays the component in a red font within the Filters table of the Layout Optimization screen.

Products that cannot be associated

Since the Layout Optimization feature builds on Associations, the Optimizer is unavailable for any product that cannot use the Regular Association. The specification characteristic type classes that you cannot associate include the following:

• Component Format - Envelope
• Component Format - Label
• Component Format - Mailing fold
• Component Format - Provided
• Component Format - Roll Format
• Component Format - Wide Format
• Any irregular formats, such as Cartons.
